Ms. Sun has extensive experience teaching Mandarin in both Canada and China. She brings 8 years of experience teaching Mandarin to kids aged 6-11 in Montreal, as well as 13 years of experience teaching at the elementary school level in China.
Her experience is complemented by her education: she holds a Teaching Certificate (Elementary School) in China and Teaching Certificate of Chinese Language for foreigners.
Her loving and responsible approach to teaching creates a nurturing learning environment. She employs connections to Chinese character formation to aid understanding and memory. She encourages students to compose rhymes and tell stories to remember complex Chinese characters. Additionally, she places great importance on the role of reading aloud in Chinese language learning, encouraging students to read course texts and perform stage plays. This helps them better understand the content of the articles and expands the scope of Chinese language teaching. Students in her class develop a genuine passion for learning Chinese, benefiting from her caring and encouraging nature. Ms. Sun enjoys traveling and reading. Her loving heart warms people around her.
Furthermore, she has achieved success by winning several Mandarin pedagogical competitions in Canada and has even published a pedagogical article in the periodical "Overseas Chinese Teaching."
