About our Mandarin Immersion Day Camps
The Shire School PD Day Camps are taught by our amazing Mandarin teachers. Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Complimentary early care is available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and aftercare from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please note that the school will close promptly at 5:00 PM on camp day.
Pizza lunch will be served.
What to Pack
To help your child enjoy the day to the fullest, please send them with the following:
A backpack for personal belongings
Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing (for example, in cold weather: winter coat, snow pants, snow boots, hat, gloves, etc.)
Clean indoor shoes
Two healthy, nut-free snacks
A reusable water bottle

Calling all junior sleuths and adventure seekers! The Emperor’s top-secret ceremonial tea has mysteriously vanished, and we need our cleverest campers to solve the mystery.
In this immersive, story-driven camp, kids step into the shoes of Royal Tea Detectives. Together, they'll decode secret clues, crack ancient puzzles, and embark on a thrilling quest; all while discovering the art, rich history, and fascinating traditions of Chinese tea culture.
Panda Rescue Mission

Get ready for an action-packed, paws-itively fun adventure! In this hands-on program, campers step into the boots of real-life wildlife conservationists to protect China’s most beloved national treasure: the Giant Panda.
Through interactive missions and creative activities, campers learn what it takes to save pandas in the wild while exploring the wonderful world of wildlife protection.
Dragon Boat Champions
